KC Day of Hope
KC Day of Hope is a citywide outreach event designed to bring tangible resources, encouragement, and joy to families and individuals across Kansas City—all in one place, on one powerful day.
Hosted in the heart of the city at Swope Park, this event is a collaborative effort between churches, nonprofits, businesses, civic groups, and community leaders who are coming together to serve with purpose and love.

What to Expect:
This free event will offer a wide range of services and activities for families and individuals of all ages, including:

🎈 Kid Zone – A fun, safe space with games, inflatables, and activities for children.

💇♂️ Free Haircuts – Professional haircuts available for kids and adults.

📸 Family Portraits – Free family photos taken and printed on site.

🩺 Health Screenings – Basic medical and wellness checks provided by local healthcare professionals.

📚 Access to Community Resources – Information and support from dozens of local organizations, from housing to mental health to employment services.
