Why Our Work Matters
A lack of stable housing can affect nearly every part of a family’s daily life. It can interrupt school attendance, strain emotional well-being, and make it harder for students and caregivers to stay connected to work, routines, and support systems. Serve the World KC exists to help close those gaps through practical support and trusted relationships.
How We Work
Serve the World KC works with schools, local organizations, students and families to identify needs early and respond with support that is timely, practical and grounded in real life. That work includes direct assistance, resource connection, food support and student-centered programming that helps remove barriers and create greater stability.
Where We Work
Partnerships in the Center School District and Raytown School District help keep Serve the World KC connected to the students and families it serves. That presence makes it possible to respond more consistently, build stronger relationships and stay grounded in local needs.
