As a commitment to ensuring that all students can learn and thrive, Serve the World has designed programming specifically to support students who are experiencing homelessness and participating in the Impact Program or are unaccompanied youth. Students with Purpose is dedicated to assisting students who are unhoused with the skill development necessary for successful adulting, connecting to mental health support, and finding purpose in their lives.
Participants of the program meet weekly with staff to identify goals and measure progress on attaining those goals within the three domains: Adulting, Mental Health, and Purpose. New students invited to the program are included in an orientation period where students and staff collaborate together on developing individualized plans for success throughout high school and beyond. Recognizing that students are affected by external factors, the program meets the students where they are at and can be paused and resumed at any time during the time they are enrolled at the high school.
